Baby Raped
A 13-month-old baby was raped on Sunday morning at her home in the Wolmaransstad area, North West police said.
Superintendent Louis Jacobs said the baby's mother, 19, told police she left the house around 1am to go to the shops.
The family stays and works on a farm outside Wolmaransstad.
She returned an hour later to find her child naked and covered in blood. The baby was then rushed to hospital.
