Be Careful Uploading CDs to Your Computer
Reading this article, I felt like Homer Simpson at a school conference...the gerbil was asleep at the wheel. But I think I got the gist of it, that being that Sony and other companies are encrypting their CDs with copyright protection software. The premise is that record companies want to ensure that a buyer can't burn more than a few back-up copies of any given CD. Yet the attached software that does this cannot be uninstalled from your computer system. From what I understand, too many uploaded/burnt CDs on your computer could end up breaking it.
