National Next of Kin Registry

This website seems like a wonderful idea to me. Basically, you register yourself and children (if you have them) so that if you're injured or killed, the authorities will be able to contact your next of kin. It makes sense - all that my driver license will tell the police is where I live - not who would want to know what's happened to me. You can even add a photograph so that the authorities can more easily identify you.
